METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH FOR STUDENTS OF THE SPECIALTY "DESIGN"

The paper highlights the key aspects of methodological support in teaching English which includes teaching aids, recommendations, lesson plans, didactic and electronic resources. Particular attention is paid to the teacher’s role in developing students’ language and communication competences, especially in the context of professional language training. The effectiveness of using innovative technologies, multimedia tools and online resources in the educational process is considered. The paper analyses the communicative method focused on developing speaking and writing skills, as well as the constrctivist approach which involves active student participation in constructing their own learning experience.
