Plagiarism policy

The editorial board of the journal series accepts for publication only original materials, abstracts of reports that have not been published before, materials have not been submitted for publication in other journals and have not been presented at other conferences.

It is advisable for authors to independently check the text for plagiarism and attach the report to the abstract manuscript.

Plagiarism before publication

The editorial board of the journal analyzes any case of plagiarism on its merits. If plagiarism or text borrowings are discovered by the editors at any stage before the publication of the abstract manuscript, the author(s) are warned about the need to rewrite the text or make a reference to the original source. If plagiarism is more than 25%, the abstracts may be rejected.

The percentage of plagiarism is assessed by the editorial board.

Plagiarism after publication

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the editorial board analyzes this fact. If plagiarism is found, the journal editorial office will contact the author. The pages containing plagiarism will be marked in the PDF file. Depending on the extent of the plagiarism, the document may also be retracted (deleted).

Recommendations for avoiding plagiarism

  • Use quotation marks for words taken verbatim from the source
  • Do not change parts of the quote in the context of the sentence
  • Use ellipsis (space and ellipsis) for parts of the omitted quote
  • Use parentheses for added own words
  • Limit the use of direct quotes

Try to paraphrase information or summarize information obtained from different sources using your own words.
