Abstract

One of the key challenges in modern dentistry is the treatment of patients with complete tooth loss. Various methods for securing prostheses on edentulous jaws are proposed, but implantology remains the only radical solution to the problem. Endosseous implants represent an effective and promising approach to orthopedic treatment. However, the lack of bone tissue regeneration following surgical intervention often leads to unacceptably high mechanical stress at the bone-implant interface, increasing the risk of jaw fracture. To optimize the prosthetic process, a non-invasive experimental study of local micro-deformations in the bone tissue around the implant is necessary. In research practice, non-destructive laser methods such as holographic and speckle interferometry are often used for this purpose. The study examines a simplified approach to experimental visualization of the most deformed area of a polymer jaw model using digital electronic speckle interferometry (ESI). The developed experimental setup, utilizing a simple optical interferometer scheme, enables rapid testing of proposed implant variants and assessment of their impact on bone structure strength.
