PROBLEMS AND STRATEGIC GUIDELINES OF TRAINING OF VETERAN SUPPORT SPECIALISTS IN VETERAN DEVELOPMENT CENTERS

The theses present an analysis of the development of the institute of veteran support specialists in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the consolidated interagency cooperation that facilitated the establishment of Veteran Development Centers within Ukrainian communities. The purpose and objectives of these centers are outlined, as well as the regulatory and legal framework that underpins the training of veteran support specialists within higher education institutions. The educational components of the training program are identified, current challenges faced by institutions of higher education hosting Veteran Development Centers are analyzed, and strategic guidelines for the preparation of veteran support specialists are defined.
