SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DIVORCE IN MODERN SOCIETY

The theses consider divorce as a complex socio-psychological problem of modern society. The main causes of marriage breakdown are analyzed, in particular economic difficulties, psychological incompatibility, betrayal and violence. Particular attention is paid to the impact of divorce on the mental state of spouses and children, gender differences in the experience of this process. Statistical data, research results and expert opinions are provided. Possible ways of overcoming negative consequences through the introduction of psychological support, mediation and the formation of a culture of healthy family relationships are outlined.
