EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN AND MEN IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The materials presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of the rights of women and men in public administration in Ukraine as a factor of society development and democratic governance in Ukraine. The equality of both sexes is characterised as a tool for modernisation and ensuring a new model of public administration on the way to the country's European integration, based on the absence of restrictions or privileges based on gender. It is emphasised that gender equality in public administration has made it possible to unite efforts in achieving the global goal of sustainable development of the State. Ensuring equal opportunities in access to the civil service, transparent competitions, gender-balanced personnel promotion - all this contributes to the efficiency of management processes and the formation of a just society.
