THE MILITARY IMAGE OF UKRAINE AS A TOOL OF INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT

The theses present a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of Ukraine’s international image in the context of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the development of the military image as an effective tool of foreign policy and a factor in mobilizing international support. It is emphasized that after February 24, 2022, Ukraine redefined its international representation, forming the image of a strong, united nation defending not only its own independence but also shared European values of freedom and democracy. The role of civil society, digital infrastructure, cultural diplomacy, and the leadership potential of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi are considered as key components in shaping a positive military image. The impact of the country’s renewed identity on the level of trust and the willingness of international partners to provide Ukraine with political, economic, and military assistance is highlighted. It is underlined that the military image in this context serves not only as a means of defense but also as a platform for Ukraine’s foreign policy subjectivity amid a global crisis.
