The thesis is devoted to the study of prompt engineering as a key competency of a modern designer. The principles and techniques of effective formulation of queries to AI are considered, examples of application in various areas of design, as well as challenges and prospects for the development of prompt engineering. Special attention is paid to ethical aspects and the impact of AI on the role of the designer.
