The materials present an analysis of the digital transformation of healthcare systems in the European Union in the context of the implementation of e-government initiatives. Particular attention is paid to the creation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and the MyHealth@EU platform, which provide cross-border exchange of medical data. The national digital healthcare strategies of Spain, Malta and Poland are analyzed as examples of the integration of European policies into national systems. It is shown that the digitalization of healthcare services contributes to increased accessibility, reduced administrative costs and improved quality of healthcare, but requires further harmonization of the legal framework and technological standards within the EU.
