MECHANISMS FOR STRENGTHENING THE INFLUENCE OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS ON THE DEMOCRATIZATION OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The theses analyze the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the process of democratizing public administration in Ukraine. The main mechanisms of their influence on the activities of public authorities are examined, including institutional, informational-communicative, and financial-organizational ones. The importance of NGOs as intermediaries between the state and citizens, promoting transparency, accountability, and public participation in decision-making, is emphasized. The paper highlights the legal framework regulating the activities of NGOs and identifies key challenges such as bureaucratic barriers, political pressure, insufficient funding, and the impact of martial law on their effectiveness. It concludes that developing partnerships between government and civil society, strengthening e-democracy, and enhancing the capacity of NGOs to participate in policy-making are essential conditions for the sustainable development of democracy in Ukraine.
