VECTORS OF STATE REGULATION OF THE FORMATION OF DIGITAL CROSS-BORDER MEDICINE IN UKRAINE

The theses considers the formation of a system of cross-border medicine in Ukraine as an important direction of European integration and modernization of public health management. The need to harmonize Ukrainian legislation with European Union law, ensure the compatibility of the electronic health system with the European infrastructure MyHealth@EU and implement reliable mechanisms for protecting medical data is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the issues of reimbursement of the cost of treatment abroad, mutual recognition of medical documents, electronic prescriptions, institutional coordination and the role of the National Contact Point for Cross-Border Medical Care. It is concluded that an effective model of cross-border medicine should be phased, financially balanced, safe, transparent and focused on protecting patients' rights.
