Abstract

The theses present a theoretical and methodological analysis of youth psychological resilience amid the crisis challenges of contemporary Ukrainian society, particularly military conflict, socio-economic instability, and uncertainty about the future. Special attention is given to the role of belief systems in shaping the ability to adapt, maintain internal balance, and achieve post-crisis growth. The results of an empirical study on the relationship between constructive and destructive beliefs and youth psychological resilience are presented. It is noted that constructive beliefs (growth mindset, engagement, risk acceptance) positively correlate with resilience, while destructive beliefs (catastrophizing, “must” thinking, dichotomous thinking) reduce adaptive potential. A psychological program for developing constructive beliefs was designed and tested, demonstrating its effectiveness in strengthening resilience. Methodological recommendations are provided for the implementation of diagnostic and corrective interventions.
