Abstract

Abstract. The article comprehensively analyzes the importance of psychophysical resilience as an important component of the mental health of athletes, which is a determining factor in ensuring stable training and competitive activity. Psychophysical resilience is understood as the integrated ability of an individual to respond effectively to stress factors, maintain emotional balance, mobilize internal resources and adapt to the changing and often extreme conditions of the sports environment. The paper discusses the psychological determinants that influence the development of this quality, in particular, the level of anxiety, motivational orientation, cognitive flexibility, ability to self-regulation and emotional control.
