APPROACHES TO OVERCOME FEAR OF WATER WHEN TEACHING SWIMMING TO YOUNG SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN

The scientific thesis presents the author’s assessment of the level of the water fear factor based on behavioral psychophysical criteria for teaching swimming to primary school children. Based on practical experience and analysis of methodological materials, the thesis outlines basic pedagogical advice and methods for their implementation, regarding overcoming the fear of water in primary school children, which will be useful in practice for trainers-instructors in primary swimming.
