The thesis presents an analysis of the traumatic impact of military actions on children’s psyche, particularly in the context of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The concept of "psychological trauma" and the history of its study are explored. Emphasis is placed on the relevance of overcoming war-related psychological trauma in children through the use of art therapy as an effective method of psychosocial support. Art therapy is presented as a tool for emotional release, emotional stabilization, and the development of children’s adaptive resources. The main forms of art therapy are described (such as art therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, fairy tale therapy, sand therapy, etc.) and their influence on stress and anxiety reduction, as well as on the formation of social skills.
