THE PROSPECTS FOR A SERVICE-ORIENTED STATE IN A GLOBALISED WORLD

These theses present an analysis of the development of a service-oriented state against the backdrop of deepening global transformations, as a key component in the formation, establishment and development of a democratic state, the development of a digital society and the promotion of sustainable development in a context where citizens receive services from public authorities, thereby realising and implementing the principle of democracy, ensuring an adequate, high and quality standard of living for society. It is established that the modern state is transforming from a regulator into a provider of services to citizens, which must be based on the principles of transparency, openness, speed, accessibility and timeliness. It is emphasised that a service-oriented state and high-quality services are the key to sustainable development. It is concluded that building a service-oriented state is an important strategic direction for the modernisation of public administration, the main task of which is to ensure and guarantee the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens through the provision of high-quality services.
