Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the problem of existential crisis in women aged 30 to 45 years who work in the oncological hospital of Mykolaiv. The study and analysis of the key concepts of the research is carried out, it is found that intrapersonal conflict is an acute, critical self-awareness and experience of an individual caused by a long struggle of the structures of the inner world of the personality, reflecting the relationship of the contradiction with the social environment and an obstacle that makes it difficult to make an adequate decision in a given situation, as well as inhibits active actions to implement the plan. The thesis reveals that intrapersonal conflict arises when one person’s motives, needs and drives interact with each other in equal strength but in opposite directions. It is determined that in the context of wartime, it is important to take into account different approaches to the analysis of intrapersonal conflict (IPC), including psychological, biological, sociocultural and other approaches. This allows us to create a more comprehensive view of this phenomenon and understand its multidimensional nature. The theoretical analysis of intrapersonal conflict in young women in wartime becomes an important stage for further research. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to develop effective practical recommendations for improving psychotherapy programmes, as well as to create socially and culturally sensitive strategies to support young women during war stress. This will allow for better understand the psychological needs of women in conflict and provide them with appropriate support.
