Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the study of the effect of immobilization stress on the state of the antioxidant defense system of the rat stomach against the background of different functional activity of the pineal gland. The results obtained indicate that under immobilization stress against the background of pineal hypofunction, lipoperoxidase homeostasis is disturbed. At the same time, the activity of the enzymatic link of antioxidant defense changes ambiguously. Thus, the activity of superoxide dismutase practically does not change either under stress or under stress with a lack of melatonin. Catalase activity increases under stress against the background of pituitary hypofunction, which indicates the activation of this link of the antioxidant system.
