WAR CRIMES: CONCEPTS AND SIGNS IN INTERNATIONAL LAW

The concept of war crimes in international law is considered, their list is given and a distinction is made between the concepts of war crime and war crime. The analysis shows that the principle of universal jurisdiction applies to war crimes. Special attention is paid to the signs of these crimes, the direct connection between the unlawful act and the state of armed conflict is noted, regardless of its nature.
