Abstract

The theses examine the state and prospects for the development of the language culture of public servants of Ukraine in the context of European integration. It is substantiated that the language competence of managers is not only a tool of professional activity, but also a component of the state image. Ways of bringing Ukrainian business speech closer to European standards are identified, in particular through the implementation of the principles of "plain language" (Plain Language) and gender-sensitive communications. The role of linguistic stability and ethics as means of increasing the transparency of interaction between the state and society is considered. Mechanisms for optimizing the language training of civil servants are proposed, which will contribute to effective communication within common European institutions.
