FEATURES OF STATE REGULATION IN THE SPHERE OF HEALTH CARE

The theses consider the essence and features of state regulation in the field of healthcare in the context of the transformation of market relations. The main approaches to interpreting the concept of state regulation are determined, its institutional and legal components are characterized. The goal, objectives and key functions of state regulation are substantiated, in particular information, resource, innovation and control. Special attention is paid to the role of decentralization, the need to combine state and market mechanisms, as well as the orientation of modern policy towards results-based management. The conclusion is made about the importance of effective state influence in ensuring the quality of medical services and improving the health of the population.
