The theses examine the essence of the concept of psychological resilience and its significance for the effectiveness of managerial activity in crisis situations. It is substantiated that psychological resilience acts as an important personal resource of a manager, ensuring the ability to maintain professional effectiveness under conditions of uncertainty, increased stress and risk. It is established that a high level of psychological resilience contributes to informed managerial decision-making, emotional balance, adaptation to change and effective interaction with personnel. The main factors of managers’ psychological resilience formation are identified, and directions for its development in the public administration system are outlined.
