Abstract

The thesis examines the peculiarities of the economic security of frontline territories in wartime. Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, frontline territories have suffered significant economic losses. The destruction of infrastructure, the decline in business activity, mass migration of the population, and the threat to security have led to a critical deterioration in the economic situation of these regions. Ensuring the economic security of the frontline territories has become a key task for the state and local communities. Economic security is the state of the economy that ensures resilience to internal and external threats, the ability to self-recover and develop. In war conditions, its key components are: protection of critical infrastructure; stability of supply of goods and services; preservation and development of human capital; financial and institutional stability. In frontline regions, these aspects take on particular importance due to constant threats and limited resources. The main threats to the economic security of frontline territories are: destruction of infrastructure, which complicates logistics, reduces investment attractiveness and limits access to basic services; a decline in economic activity, which leads to job losses, reduced tax revenues and increased unemployment; population migration, which leads to a loss of skilled labor and reduced consumer demand; psychological pressure and uncertainty restrain economic activity and investment.
