Abstract

These theses are dedicated to the theoretical and applied analysis of the transformation of the information space during wartime and digitalization, with a special focus on the coverage of local self-government activities through online media. Digital platforms and social networks are considered key tools for communication between authorities and citizens, ensuring transparency, timeliness, and accessibility of information. It is emphasized that the full-scale war has posed serious challenges for regional media, including personnel losses, financial instability, technical difficulties, psychological pressure, and ethical dilemmas. Despite this, many media outlets have managed to adapt by transitioning to digital formats and actively using social media as a tool for prompt communication and community engagement. The theses highlight that local journalism plays a crucial role in consolidating society, ensuring transparency of local authorities, and building trust in self-government institutions. Online media are becoming not only a source of news but also a means of public oversight and interaction.
