PUBLIC SERVANT: RESOLVING LANGUAGE CONFLICT

The speech is devoted to the issues of protecting the Ukrainian state language in the context of its use by a public servant, as well as other public figures. Specific problems in the language sphere that are of a conflict nature are considered, as they relate not only to the actual orthographic dimension, but also to the political one, in particular in the context of aggression from the former imperial metropolis, that is, they relate directly to national security. It is proved that the state language and its protection are factors of national security, and the leading current means of such protection is its purification from Russian-language tracing forms, which were specially introduced by the empire into the Ukrainian language over the past hundred years.
