DERUSSIFICATION OF EDUCATIONAL CONTENT IN PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH

These theses consider the relevance of the process of de-Russification of the content of teaching professional English in higher education in Ukraine. The existing approaches to the selection of teaching material are analysed, the risks of preserving outdated or Russian-language sources are identified. The ways of updating the educational content with regard to European values, Ukraine-centric approaches and modern labour market needs are proposed.
