The thesis is an analysis of the problem of motivation of the future psychologist, which is the need to study the attitudes and orientation of the individual, which determine the attitude to educational and professional activities, initiative in performing tasks and overcoming difficulties in the process of independent work. The author emphasizes the need to focus the educational process not only on the formation of highly specialized knowledge, but also on the development of personal, professionally significant qualities, raising the level of professional competence of future specialists capable of flexible thinking, independent decision-making and professional adaptation. It is noted that in the context of training future psychologists, the formation and assessment of their professional success, which includes not only selection but also systematic psychological, pedagogical, legal and economic training, is of priority importance. The basis of professional success is the motivational sphere of the individual It has been proven that the motivational sphere plays a key role in the harmonious development of a future psychologist as a specialist. It is the psychological basis that forms the awareness of significant needs (obtaining a profession, professional realization, personal growth) and ensures the fulfillment of tasks related to mastering the profession; the level of formation of this sphere depends on the success of adaptation to professional requirements, stability in professional development and the ability to continuous improvement.
